DIY Beeswax Reusable Food Wraps

Ingredients List

• 10 tbsp Essential Living yellow beeswax pellets
• 9 tsp Essential Living jojoba oil
• 10 tbsp pine resin
• Thin fabric cut into two 8×8, two 11×11, and two 14×14 inches
• Paint brush
• Parchment paper
• Cookie sheets
• Clothesline or wire hanger
• Clothes pins

Let’s Get Started!

• Start by preheating your oven to 200 degrees F
• Measure out your fabric and cut them into squares. – Combine your beeswax pellets (if using a block of beeswax grate with a cheese grater), jojoba oil, and pine resin in a medium sized bowl.
• Put parchment paper on your cookie sheets and lay your fabric on top. This makes an easier clean up when you’re done.
• Sprinkle your mixture onto your fabric and place in the oven.
• After about five minutes pull your cookie sheets out and spread the mixture more evenly with your paint brush. Then place back in the oven for approximately 3-6 more minutes or until completely melted.
• Once fully melted pull your wraps out of the oven and spread the mixture once again with your paint brush. You don’t have to flip it because the mixture should be applied thick enough to soak through to the other side.
• Using kitchen tongs lift the fabric and hang on your clothesline or over a wire hanger and clip with clothes pins.
